Our House League program is a chance for players to get a feel for the game of ringette without the pressure of travel. House League teams practice once a week from mid-September to March, with two weeks off at the winter holidays. Teams are created based on the expected skill of players, and compete against each other over the course of the season. The practices are half-ice with all house league teams rotating through various drills and exercises. No travel is required for house league players, but our organization will work to provide additional optional game experiences which could involve welcoming teams from other local associations (Barrie, Sunderland) or travelling to those locations.
Registration fees cover the following items:
Additional skill clinics, power skating, extra practices, and other wardrobe expectations are paid for separately by the parent/player and are not part of the registration fee. These additional costs are generally optional and will be communicated in advance to player families.
